I love wearing knee length skirts in the summer, but I don’t want to wear anything made from a material that is too heavy. This short skirt caught my eye for a number of reasons. First of all, it’s black so you can pair it with almost anything. However, it is also made of a jersey knit that is light weight and breathable. Plus, it is machine washable making it great for everyday wear. There is much more to this skirt that caught my eye. For instance, I love the flattering a-line design. It has a gentle flare that makes the skirt fun, feminine and whimsical, but it doesn’t bulk up the full figured frame. I also love the elastic waist band on this skirt. It makes the skirt comfy, and it still fits on days when bloating takes hold. Plus, this shirt looks great paired with a tee shirt or a blouse. The bonus, the price was just reduced to under $30.
A-Line works for most body type, but it works the best for pear shaped body.
If you have a big rear, A-Line may not work for you. The reason is that it balloons the fabric out at the back giving an appearance that it is bigger than it actually is.
