I am head over heels for all things lace. There is something that is so classy and vintage about even the most modern lace designs that I look twice whenever I see a piece made out of this classic fabric. And don’t even get me started on the sexy factor when it comes to lace. That being said, this metallic and lace blouse and tank set by Catherine’s is a new and inventive way to rock the timeless material.

Both the tank and the matching blouse feature three artfully detailed lace patterns, two of which contain metallic threading throughout. The sleeves of the blouse showcase see through lace adding to the sensual appeal of the piece by showing off skin in the most demure fashion. What makes this piece so much better than the way other lace designs are done, is that there is no mesh material behind the see-through lace on the arms, which allows the wearer’s natural skin tone to shine through. Gorgeous satin trimming along the collar, placket, and cuffs create an elegant and luxurious finish.

One thing I don’t like about this beautiful design; the price. At between 61 and 67 dollars, this design is a little rich for my blood (and that’s with an almost 30 dollar drop in the original price)..
With so much going on, this piece proves that beauty (and the devil) is in the details.
