When shopping online, it can be hard to find clothes that radiate with a wow factor. It seems that whenever I find the time to actually shop in a store, I can always find amazing clothes that strike me as knockout pieces. Rarely do I see a piece on a print or internet model that just makes me pause and want to know more.

However, the Katrina Dolman Sleeve Tunic from Apple Bottoms has just stopped me in my tracks. Part retro 70’s glamour and part Miami nightlife sophisticate, this dress appeals to the eye and the general plus size silhouette on so many different levels.

The Dolman sleeves and relaxed fit give the piece a very natural and comfortable drape that many tunic dresses lack. In addition, the allover pattern provides a distraction from any potential problem areas on the body while the white, banded bottom and white cuffs provide extra definition, ensuring an hourglass appearance.

The dress is much more appealing from the front than from the back, as I’m not a fan of the misaligned back patten and the way the sleeves appear from the rear. Despite its shortcomings, a pair of pink or purple close toed pumps could easily keep you focused on what this dress is really meant to do – drop jaws.
