So I found the perfect pair of boots for winter weather. They’re fully functional, yet trendy and stylish. But now I’m starting to wonder if the pants that I own are worthy of their newfound compatriots. I was determine to try out a few different pairs of black leggings since they are one of the few trends I still haven’t tried. I got half way through an online purchase and realized that the black leggings I was so fond of wouldn’t really go well with the brown suede boots that I just bought. Perhaps a truly trendsetting fashionista could rock the black and brown without hesitation. I am not one of those people.

I don’t feel the need to go all out on a new pair of jeans, especially when I consider that I don’t know how tight my boots will be, and therefore I have no clue weather a traditional pair of jeans will fit better in or outside the boot. So in my quest to try one trend, I’ve moved onto another: the denim legging. Now I usually would never put tight denim on my more than ample thighs, but give me a long tunic to cover my bottom and knee high boots to complete the look and I’m in. These 5 pocket denim leggings are tight enough to convert to be considered the perfect pair of skinny jeans, but still manage to lack the crotch buckling that most tight jeans fall prey to. Available in sizes 16W to 26W, another great feature of the denim legging is that inseams are not an issue if you’re going to tuck them into a great pair of boots. On the other hand, if your are not, you may want to think twice if you’re built with an extra petite or tall frame, as the 32 inch inseam won’t look great with every pair of shoes.
