Megan Mullally

Before going into television, Megan started out as a dancer. Being trained in ballet from the young age of six, she performed in several respectable companies. Moving on to being a theater actress, Megan relocated to Chicago and performed in various shows and revivals. Leaving Chicago, she ventured toward Los Angeles and Hollywood. Although she was still working the theater scene, Megan wanted to make her way into television and movies.

Debuting in Risky Business as one of the call girls, Megan followed her first cinematic appearance by several smaller roles in other films, such as Anywhere But Here, Stealing Harvard, and Rebound.

Going from the big-screen to television, Megan started doing guest spots on shows like ‘Caroline in the City,’ ‘Frasier,’ and of course ‘Seinfeld.’ In 1998, however, Megan went from guest spot actor into becoming a main supporting character on ‘Will and Grace.’ Audiences loved her portrayal of a comedically drunk socialite who acts superficial but can actually be a caring individual on occasion. Her performance was so magnificent that she won two Emmy awards as Best Supporting Actress in a comedy.

After the show’s five-year run, Megan pursued other roles. She tried hosting her own comedic talkshow, but it was unfortunately short-lived due to low ratings. Currently she is still performing on Broadway and making guest appearances on television shows.
