This maxi gauze summer dress features “layered” coloring which goes from darker to lighter from the bottom up. It is available in the following four color selections: Capri blue, sahara orange, bright violet and brown. For added embellishment, there is crochet trim around the empire waist and at the neckline. Also, the back of the dress is smocked, which would allow for some stretching.
It is made of washable cotton. It is not specified in the description whether it is machine washable or hand washable only. The length of this dress is 52 inches. I found it interesting that in one of the customer reviews the woman noted that she is 5’10” and that the length of the dress was fine for her. She further allowed that she doubted that it would work well for short women. However, another customer reviewer said that she is only 5’3” and that the dress worked well for her.
Sizes available in this dress are 12W through 32W. This could also be used as a swim suit cover-up as well as a summer dress. Being gauze, this would be a good piece for travel as it wrinkling would not be an issue. The price point of $34.99 to $39.99 seems very reasonable.
