Certain outfits bring out different parts of my personality. Short dresses bring out my flirty side, oversized sweaters bring out my relaxed side, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. No matter what mood I’m in it’s nice to know that I can express myself through clothing. For those days when I’m feeling confident with a dash of mystique, I prefer outfits like this Brushed Twill Jacket.

The lines and cut of this particular jacket show off that sexy kind of fearlessness all women want. Form fitting with princess seaming, this jacket stays close to the body for a tight silhouette. Although a shorter jacket, this outfit can help create the image of a smaller waistline.

Even though the form fitting aspect is a key feature, most of the attention is drawn to the shoulders and collar. Button-down flaps on the shoulders are decorative, but are reminiscent of dusters and trench coats. Although I appreciate how the style of this jacket has updated the trench coat look, I do wish that there were more color choices other than just classic khaki. Nevertheless, khaki is a light and neutral shade that is appropriate for many formal and casual settings.
