This is the time of year in which I start looking for wardrobe items that can carry me from the end of summer through to early fall. That is why I like this Mainstreet Blues short sleeve 2-in-1 pullover baby doll sweater from Woman Within. The combination shirt has a number of style features that work well on the full figured form.

First and foremost, the shirt/sweater layer combination is very in style. The sweater has a fashionable and flattering scoop neck and cute roomy cap style sleeves. The sweater also has an empire waist, which is ideal for concealing weight in the midsection, hips, rear end and thighs. It is made of cotton jersey knit which drapes well.

I don’t like that the shirt underneath is not a full shirt, it is just a collar. Sometimes these collar type insets can be ill fitting and uncomfortable. However, it does lessen the amount of bulk you have with the layering of the garments. The shirt is also a bit on the long side which may add weight to the frame by cutting some length from the lower half of the body. If you are shorter you probably would want to avoid this sweater.
