Distinctive. Authentic. Original. These are words that don’t really seem to come to mind when I’m looking at the clothes designed for plus size women. Yes, I often find some wonderfully creative and impeccably designed pieces, but rarely do I come across anything that offers true novelty.

This one-of-a-kind purple wrap sweater features short sleeves, plaid chiffon over the left bodice and a matching plaid chiffon tie waist. By alternating a traditional one color wrap sweater with a plaid print in a Georgette style, this Apple Bottoms design is sure to stand out, both in your closet and while you’re out and about.

A really interesting feature of this sweater is the back bottom half of the design. It includes ribbed knitting. For those women worried about how long sweaters look hung over their bottoms, the knitting adds extra stretch that won’t lose its give over time. Despite all the originality, I’m not sure the uniqueness of the piece warrants the $69.00 price tag. But added to a pair of form fitting skinny jeans and purple stilettos, this top could easily go along for a ride on a long night out.
