When we choose our clothes, we also choose an image that we want to portray. Some days we need to look business professional, and other days shabby chic is just the thing. Many of us just want to look friendly and approachable, and wearing an outfit like this Pintucked Dress will convey that message beautifully. The simple design of this dress gives it that easy-going feeling. Although the waistline creates division between the bodice and skirt, it doesn’t disrupt the flow of the outfit. Princess seaming on the bodice gives some shape to the outfit, drawing attention to the vertical lines of the seams. These lines lead the eye downward to the inverted pleats of the skirt. The button closure down the center of the dress creates another vertical line that unifies both top and bottom. Metal buttons add visual interest and contrast to the twill fabric. While the dress is charming, it does produce a certain image that most likely says ‘schoolteacher,’ ‘librarian,’ or ‘mom.’ Not that any of these labels are a bad thing, but they might not be the look you’re going for.Color choices are mostly bright and vibrant. Guava Twill and Chambray are full of energy. Light Khaki Twill is more neutral, and will need some accessories or jewelry to liven it up. Medium Stonewash is a darker blue that looks like denim, and should complement most complexions and hairstyles.Features Of The Above Short Sleeve Dress

I’m usually not a fan of the long denim skirt. While minis and pencil skirts in a denim wash can be the perfect bottom for a variety of occasions, I find long denim to be dowdy, unsophisticated, and an overall boring silhouette, especially on plus size women. Leave it to a simple change in wash and an a-line cut to turn me from a skeptic to a believer.
I wont hide my feelings for this skirt. I think its is one of my most adorable finds of the summer. It’s a piece that is just so different from what I’m used to. At 32 inches long, this mid-calf length skirt is able to cover you up without weighing you down due to the woven seersucker material. A comfortable elastic and drawstring waist provide a natural fit and create an
There are plenty of times when I wish I could bring myself to dress up more often or add more skirts and dresses to my wardrobe, but I just cannot say enough about my love for lounging around in all types of comfortable clothes. But if there is one item I prefer more than most, its comfortable cargo pants. In general, I like cargo pants because they’re roomy and create wonderful lines on every type of women in the same way wide-leg trousers do and because they have extra pockets.
Skirts are a sticky issue for plus sized women. Many skirts are way too short and leave too much exposed. I know that I’ve struggled to find the right combination of length and stylishness. However, mid length skirts are the perfect wardrobe addition for work, church or social gatherings. They are feminine and pretty, but they are also modest because of their length. This Only Necessities 7-day print skirt has all of these qualities in a pretty print that comes in two print:Dark Navy Print and Raisin Print .
Believe or not leggings are back in style now along with a number of other eighties fashions. I personally like wearing leggings because they are so comfortable. I mean what could be better, they are soft, stretchy and don’t have a ton of unnecessary fabric. I love these Torrid black Capri leggings because they combine the comfort and fit of the legging with the summery capri pant.
