Calling all bra manufacturers: I am officially on a bra search. Over the past year or so I’ve let my collection of intimates dwindle down to being on the verge of nonexistent. I used to be all about finding a reasonably supportive bra at an even more reasonable price and stocking up on them in every color. But a build up of life’s obligations has kept me in bras that were unsupportive and too tight for too long.In my commitment to find a bra that works for me, I stumble upon this seamless side-wire bra from Comfort Choice today. It has all the makings of a great bra for plus size women, including adjustable stretch straps, molded cups and side boning. But what made this bra stand out to me (besides the seven colors it comes in) was the patent-pending hidden side panels that are supposed to enhance curves and act as added support. After a normal amount of wear and tear, the average bra can begin to wrinkle on the sides and become less supportive after each wash. The side boning and side panels on this Comfort Choice bra make the possibility of that happening a lot less likely, especially if the wearer gets the right fit. Remember that the key to a good bra starts with a good fit.
